Fishing for Walleye & Smallmouth Bass

I am planning a trip to Lake Rainy in Montana on the Canadian border the first of August.  Can you tell me what the best type of bait or jigs to use would be?  Thank you for your expert advise.

I'm sorry to say this is the first question I've had on here, which I have not been able to answer.  I can answer the basics of fishing for walleye and smallmouth, but not for the lake mentioned in Montana.  However, I would suggest for you to try www.bassinusa.com.  I am a member of there pro staff, and we have members all across the USA.  It is free, and you can post questions on the Ask the Pro Staff board.  Sometimes members of the staff will suggest other members that can answer a question, if they can't do it themselves.
