Homel gives the "Midge" trout fly rod 6' 3" (2/2)  with an extra tip, 3 sections the  value of  $400, 1200   and $2400  for poor, good, and excellent condition respectively.
Most people over evaluate the condition of their rods.
I recommend you get Homel (library)and study including the following:
Excellent Condition
(1) Fine, original finish
(2) No missing sections or components
(3) No breaks, fractures, dirt or wear
(4) Shows evidence of only minimal use
(4) Original bag and case with tags and labels

Luck,
Mac
