HAND ME DOWN FROM GREAT UNCLE. CANNOT FIND ANY INFO. ON THIS POLE,MAYBE U CAN HELP. TESTER MODEL 50 , IRON RIVER, WISCONSIN, BAIT CASTER,W/CORK HANDLE, 5' 11 OPEN ,3 EYES. CAME WITH A BRONSON VIKING 906. I JUST WONDERING WHO MADE IT. JUST WONDER IF ITS A KEEP IN TRUNK IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, OR IN SHOW CASE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

Just an aside , all caps on the internet means shouting - I am pretty sure you aren't yelling at me. As well it also makes it harder for the reader to interpret.

The telescoping steel rods generate low collector interest. They were made from the late 1800s thru 1940s until fiberglass came into play. $5-30 depending on condition.

The main collector interest is in custom, American split bamboo fly rods. You are probably not going to find history on the metal or bait casting rods.

Most of the metal rods I have seen  were made by Horton / Bristol
