vintage fishing rods

Hi Robert,  I picked up a couple of rods at a yard sale because they looked old and custom made.  The 1st has a reel seat with Fuji FPS-20 but no markings on the rod nor grip.  It's some sort of heavy fiberglass construction.  It also has very nicely done ferrule wrappings.  The other is a Browning Silaflex model 932971. I could send pics if this is an area in which you might have knowledge.  Thanks,  Rich

Browning purchased the Silaflex company in 1963 and made rods into the late 80s. The value of the rod depends on the line (Medallion, Standard, presentation). They are collectable with a wide range of values. I recommend this site to get an appraisal:
