This old Gephardi rod has a wooden handle, and is made of steel with 5 eyes.
The reel is level wind Flueger bait casting reel # 1895.

What can you tell me about it? Age and value.

Gephart Mfg Co, Chicago Ill, made rods from the 1920s until at least the late 1940s. Unfortunately steel rods were the low cost alternative to bamboo rods. These rods typically sell for $5 to $30. Your rod is probably from the 20s or 30s.

Similarly, the Pflueger Akron made from 1905 thru 1970. They generally run for $5 to $20 range. More if its mint in the original box or a very early model.
