Vintage Surf Rod Appraisal & Restoration Advice

I purchased a surf rod at a yard sale.the fiberglas extention is 7 ft. the atatching butt is about 20inches and wood.markings are worn but appear to be owfns. should i consider recondioning this rod &what is the value.

Hard to tell the maker from your description.

probably not worth reconditioning for resale, but replacing line guides, wraps isn't too hard if you want to clean it up.

You can search ebay, see if you can match the rod (sporting goods, outdoors, fishing, vintage)
