Hi my name is Tyler.my girl friend and I went fishing the other day in the bosque river in central Texas we fished shallow to deep clear water gravel/rock bottom flowing pools and we were catching spots and white bass and even one rare redeye bass but she caught this one fish that looks like its a cross between a spotted bass and a white bass...can you tell me what this is?

Now to your question, the bass looks like a cross between a largemouth and a striped bass. I am not familiar with that river, is it connected to saltwater anywhere? I really do not know for sure but if you will give me a follow up in three or four days I will check with some of my sources and try to identify this fish for you. HANG ON TO THAT GAL TOO!
