aluminum fly rod tube cap

Question
I have a Shakespeare Wonderrod fiberglass fly rod (1950's) that came in an aluminum tube that had male threads and the cap had female threads.  I inherited this from my Dad and it is missing the cap. The outside diameter of the male threads is about 1 and  5/8 inches. The threads are fairly coarse. Where should I look to find one?  Can you help find this cap?
