Rod Restoration & Repair: Reclaiming Vintage Fishing Rods

I have a rod that I purchased around 1952 in Saco Me. The screw on cover for the alum. tube was lost on a trip to the Kennebec River. Can you find a replacement for it? Next, the windings are in poor shape but the actual rod itself is not broken ETC. Does Wright & McGill refinish their customers favorite Rods?

William, My suggestion is that you go to www.Wright-Mcgill.com and ask them about repair of the  rod.  They may do the repair or may lead you to someone who does.  This is about all I can give you.  Thank you for calling on me to answer your question.
