I have a 1905 shakespear fishing rod & reel model # pa duce.I think it is made of steal. the handle is cork. i would like any information you have, and how much you think it would be worth. thank you. james

Shakespeare was one of the big five fishing tackle companies emerging out of the turn of the 19th century. They made a large line of fishing lures, reels, rods, etc. They are noted for making reels for other companies, including South Bend.
1905 is the model number of the reel. PA can be used to date the reel to 1970.
Its a fairly common reel, would sell for $5 to 10.
The rod should also be marked....
