Very old fly fishing rod

Question
My husband was given his grandfathers fly rod.  It appears to be hand made and everything is on very good condition.  He thinks it was his grandfathers, fathers.  As far as we can tell there is no brand or markings on the rod.  Is there any way to go about getting a value on this?

Answer
I can't really help you without knowing about who made it.  Please go to this website:

Join up and post some photos of the rod.  Please read the "before you ask for an appraisal" thread and follow the direction there.  If your rod is from a known maker these guys will help you for sure.
I hope this helps
