Eagle Claw Eagle Royale FE300 Fly Rod & Golden Falcon Reel Information

Hello
I have a Eagle Claw 揈agle Royale?br> Model FE300 8??by Wright and McGill fly rod with a Golden Falcon
EFT560 reel. I received this as a gift recently and I was wanting to
know about it, when it was made and just any information you can share. I have written Eagle Claw and have Googled with no good info.

I don't know Eagle Claw rods very well. I have seen a few Golden Falcon reels.  Those I have seen are spinning reels from the late 60s and early 70s.  So I would guess your rod is probably a spinning rod of the same vintage.  Eagle Claw rods have always been fairly inexpensive entry level fiberglass and graphite rods.
