hello

i have a one piece fly rod with the writing gramma:s mohawk special. it is 7 feet long. i am trying to find out any info i can on this rod. date, value etc. any help would be great

Hi Robert - If the rod says "gramma's mohawk special" it is likely a custom built rod.  It is unusual in that it is 7' and one piece.  Horrocks-Ibbotsen made a fiberglass series of rods called the Mohawk and Montague made a line of bamboo rods with the name also...but neither of those had a gramma's special model nor did they have a 7' one piece.  You don't say what the rod is made of.  I'm guessing it's a custom rod and probably not worth much.  I hope this helps,
