Question
i am going to belize in feb. the bone fishing from the beach is supposed to be very good. fish2-3lbs. i use spinning gear. what lures and terminal tackle would you suggest i bring?

Answer
there are bone fish jigs that you can use, wiggle jigs they call them. soft plastic lures also work for them.

this link will give you an idea of what bonefish jigs look like.

8-12lbs test line on your reel is powerful enough to stop bonefish, its good to take florocarbon leaders as bones are often shy, having florocarbon leaders will definately help.
