Question
When I go saltwater fishing what do I do from messing up my reel. Because last year when I went saltwater fish the salt and the sand messed my reel all up. what is the best way to prevent that.

Answer
It helps if you dont put your reels down on the ground. if you have a sand spike when bottom fishing, it makes a whole world of difference.

wash the reels with warm soapy water after each trip. what i usually do is to take the reel apart since service centers are hard to come by where I'm at. you can take yoyr reels to a service center or a tackle shop that could do maintenance work for you and it wont take you that much money.
