U.S. Open

Question
Was it true, that when you qualified for the shortest man to ever be in a U.S.Open,you hit a wood to the last 3 holes and birdied

all of them to make the U.S. Open. You had a good caddy.(Don B.)

Answer
Billy:

No that is not true, however, I did birdie 4 of the last 5 to shoot 66 in the afternoon round and qualify, finishing second to Corey Pavin in California. I hit a couple of woods coming down the stretch for sure.  Thanks for the memories Billy.
