PGA Tour Stats: Does a Hole-in-One on a Par 4 Count as a Fairway Hit?

I recently reached a par 4 in one shot. My golfing Buddies said I could not count it as a fairway hit. (We gamble on stats.)  I say they are wrong and it should be counted as a fairway and a Greenie. They said this would be counted as a missed fairway on the PGA. Give me a break. I can't find anyone that can answer this question.

HI Clint;

Well you friends would be incorrect, as far as I can remember anyways.  
I cannot see the tour penalizing the fairways hit stats of a player for driving a green.  IN actuality it seems ludicrous they would do that. BUT...contact the PGA Tour and ask them that.  They will tell you.
