Best Golf Clubs for Improving Iron Play: Blades vs. Cavity Backs

Hi.
I'm struggling to decide which clubs to purchase. i play with blades which were
hand me downs from my granddad, and are from the 1980's (golden ram tour
grinds). ive played with them for a few years and have seen better days.
Ive started to improve alot this year and my handicap is down to 8. but my iron
play is poor, i hit it along way but its my short game that saves me. should i
invest in some new blade type irons like titleist mb, or cavity types like nike vr
splits or mizi mx200. i want to really improve further, but should i get irons that
will help now or get players irons for when/if i get better.

Right now will be a perfect time for a computerized fitting. You will know ALL the parameters you need for the best golf. This is what you need. You will then know if a players cavity or blade is appropriate.

Find a certified fitter not a part time employee with a launch monitor.
You will NOT be sorry
