high school golf

My daughter is playing on her high school golf team with all boys. I would like to know what if anything the coaches can say or do with their players during a match.

I just got off the phone with my daughter's high school golf coach. Here in Texas, starting with the 2009 - 2010 season, the coaches will be able to talk (advice, club selection, strategy etc.)with their players from the green to the next tee. It may be totally different in the state that you live, so either talk to her coach or call the UIL.

Currently at the college level, the coach can talk to their players at any time. They can suggest the club to use and line up their putts. Basically anything that a caddy can do.
