Answer
Hello Martin:

Have you ever played baseball Martin?  I want you to make some swings with a driver and pretend there is a ball chest high on a tee.  So set up with the club extended out in front of you and make some swings.  These swings will be real level, around you.  Make a complete swing and tell me what your back foot does?  When you swing the club past your midpoint chest high and allow the momentum to swing you into a finish, does your back heel release off the ground or are you planted on it and reverse pivoting?  If you are planted and reverse pivoting, please seek out a PGA Professional immediately and go get some lessons so you can learn how to properly move in a golf swing.  But probably you did it just fine and as you allowed the momentum of that chest high swing to carry you around to a finish, your back heel came off the ground and you finished on balance, just like you should do in a real swing.  So if you did it OK, gradually lower your swing until you are down at ball level.  But here is the key:  ALLOW YOUR BACK HEEL TO RELEASE WITH THE FORWARD MOMENTUM OF THE SWING THAT WILL TAKE YOU TO A FINISH.  Do not try to do something with your back foot or leg or do not try to shift or transfer weight.  ALLOW the swinging motion of the golf club to take you to a finish.  When you have completed your golf swing, your chest should be facing the target, your belt buckle should be facing the target, most all of your weight will be accepted into the outside of the left shoe and your back right foot should be straight up and down with your toe in the dirt/grass, arms, hands and club swing over the left shoulder.  Make several practice swings and ALLOW the swinging motion to take you there.
