hi again and need help

Question
I just came back from a vacation and need some help getting my skills back :P I'm actually doing BETTER overall (really suprised), but some aspects need lots of help.

With full swing pitches (30-50 yard shots) I tend hit the ball with a divit, but it still goes sort of low. I'm putting the ball in the back of my stance, but I'm thinking of moving it to the front for more height. Any suggestions what is happening? thanks!

Answer
Jeff:

A 30-50 yard shot is not a full swing.  Ball should be played just a little back of center.  If you play it too far back in your stance, you'll catch the ball on the way down, hit the top half of the ball and take the divot too far out in front of the ball, thsu hitting it to low.  Keep everything in front of you.  Ball about the center, maybe a bit back of center.  Left arm should not swing back more than about waist high, make sure to accelerate through the shot and make your finish about waist high in the follow through.  It won't take you too long to get back in the swing.  Use more of your arms, not your hands.  Learn to drive the ball forward, do not try to get under it and get it up.
