the swing

Question
On a swing, do your hands suppose to lead the clubhead upon impact? If so, what is the proper way to do so?
Also I tend to slice my drives. I noticed upon impact, my divot is a 45 to the left (I'm right-handed) I don't think I'm coming over the top on my swing. But on impact, it seem like I take the club directly to the left. Is there a way to correct this to let the club go more foward and then turn?
 Thanks

Answer
Hello and thank you for asking.  The position between your hands and the clubface depends on the club and shot you are hitting.  For example, if you want to hit a high drive with low spin, the clubface would actually actually be ahead of the hand at impact.  If you are hitting a low chip shot with a wedge, your hands would be way ahead of the clubface.

Your divot doesnt lie.  Why do you say that you dont think you are coming over the top?  Even pros have wrong feelings about their swing, and thats why they all have coaches or do video.  Dont trust your feel, trust the facts only.  There are tons of different drills you can do for this... but first you should read some of the relevant FAQ's I have already taken time to write out which will give you
