Club Choice and Recomendation

Question
After reviewing the literature and speaking with several folks, it seems that I should move to cavity back, perimeter weighted, mid-sized, steel and stiff shafts for my irons.
Might you suggest a decent yet not too expensive brand and model? I have been looking at the Maltby playability factors also. The best decision I can come to are Tommy Armour 855s. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

Answer
Hey Tim,

There are a ton of clubs out there that fit this description.  My best advice to you is to find a range or course with some demo clubs you can try.  I don't ever recommend buying clubs without trying them out.  Try to get something made out of stainless, and stay away from club heads that are "stainless steel alloy."  The 855's have been a very popular club for a number of years now, and can probably be purchased at a reasonable price.

Good Luck

John
