At what age are you generally allowed to use the senior tee box?

times has passed by and they are no longer called the senior tee box...  same goes with the ladie's tees.  
there is no rule regarding when you are allowed to use the senior tee box.  anyone can use it.  its all based on your handicapp and your distance.  if you feel like you are lacking some distance and find yourself struggling on the course, then its about time to move to the "foward" tees.
