Affordable Golf Courses by State: Where to Find the Best Deals

do you know which state offers the cheapest golf? other than texas and arizona, nevada, utah, wyoming.... thank you.

Odd question, why do you ask?  My educated guess is every state offers cheap golf.  Most golf courses' greens fees structure is based seasonally.  For instance, here in Arizona, during the season from November through April, cheap golf is not found.  The cheapest greens fee for 18 holes at a municipal golf course is $32-45 and if you want to ride, tack on about $15 more.  Now, during off season, which is June through October, you can play for $10-$30 all over the place.  So wherever you live, I am sure you can find cheap golf.  Look in the newspapers and ask or find out what day is the golf day.  That is where all the ads are for the courses.  Also, look online or ask around.  Also, most courses discounted fees throughout the day so it would be cheaper to play at say 3pm than it would be at 9am.  My guess is every state offers cheap golf, you just have to flexible if you don't want to pay the regular rates.
