Graphite Shafts for 20 Handicap Golfers: Potential Yardage Gain

I'm a 20 handicap and currently still use Ping Eye 2 black dot (steel shafts). If I cahnge to PIng graphite (G10) is it reasonable to think that I will gain 10 yards ?

Hi Jim:

It's reasonable yes.  Getting the right combo of shaft flex and head design is critical.  Obviously, PING can help you with that.  The steel shafts that were in the Eye 2's were all stiff.  If possible, hit some balls and try different shaft flexes to see and feel what each club does and how it reacts.
