erratic drives

Question
Ken, For the first 4 seasons of golf I played, I always had a mild slice which I could play, but wanted to work on straightening it out. Well, ever since last season, (and now) my drives are either a duck-hook wormburner, or literally right down the middle traveling ONLY 5-10 yards off the ground. I don't know what's going on, and it's driving me nuts. How can I hit my drives higher?

Answer
Hi David,

It's hard to tell why you're hitting low stingers without first seeing your swing.

In terms of what the club is doing, it's obviously hitting the ball with a closed clubface and likely on the upswing.

Check your ball position. Perhaps you're playing it too far forward in your stance. Try moving it back in  your stance a few inches. It should be somewhere between the middle of your stance and your left heel (given you're a right handed swinger).

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
