Why Lanny Wadkins No Longer on CBS Golf Commentary

Why isn't Lanny Wadkins doing golf commentary on CBS any more?

Dear Nell, thanks for the question.  I can only offer that CBS decided that when Lanny's contract was complete at the end of 2006, they would not be renewing it in the same capacity.  Instead they moved forward with Nick Faldo who was looking for work, when ABC ended its relationship with Golf/PGA.  Supposedly Lanny was offered a lesser role, but did not like that, and effectively left.  Thanks again for asking, good luck, and remember...
