Question
hey can i mount a 4 year old set of head all mountain bindings on a new set of k2 domains? i know that the brakes are wide enough but i dont know about the other stuff

Answer
Hey Dillon,

If the brakes are wide enough, there should be no problem mounting your bindings on the new skis. You should use a template from Head to get the proper position. If you can come up with a template, there is a way to line them up. Set the rear binding position (forward/back) to the middle and then place the bindings on the ski with your ski boot set in them. On the boot there will be a line on the side of the sole. Line this line up with the line that is across the middle of the ski. Mark where the screw holes are on the bindings and that will get the bindings located properly. If you have never mounted your own bindings, you can research this process online.

If you don't want to do it yourself, a shop can do it for you. BUT, you need to verify that your bindings are still on the 'indemnification' list. Just Google 'indemnification' to find the website with the list. If your bindings are listed, then the manufacturer still covers the bindings and a shop will mount them. If your bindings are NOT on the list, then shops will NOT work on them because the manufacturer will not be liable for any problems with the bindings.

Hope this helps.
Keep on skiing,
