Question

Skis with Boots
Hello Mr Allen, I came across an old set of skis with ski boots which upon further research may hold some value. What I found were a pair of Kneissl White Star skis size 210 in fairly good condition, good edges, working bindings. Also there is a pair of red plastic Raichle "Fiber Jet" boots, size 11. All bindings work and the laces & eyelets are all functional. The boot does have some tears in the leather at the very top of the boot. Do any of these Vintage Skis hold any value to a collector? I'd like to sell them to make some money but mainly I need to get them out of the house to please my wife. Let me know what you think.

Answer
Hi Trevor,

I don't know of any collectors or collections such as a ski museum that would take these but you might try googling to find one. Those are classics for sure. Unfortunately to my knowledge there is no market for them. Where I live people and one ski area have been using the skis for everything from novelty fences and chairs to gardening supports. Good luck.
