Question
I'm a beginner snowboarder and I have rented snowsborads and used other people snowboards many times.  I justed bought my own snowboard, Rossignol Diva 150. I need to know what would be the best type of bindings and boots for me.  I'm also haveing trouble with how I should set my stance?
Thanks

Answer
Mary,
You should buy the type of boots and bindings that you feel most comfortable in.  The stance should be so your feet do not hang over the edges. If they hang over then you will tend to drag your toes or heels when turning causing you to catch an edge and wipeout.  Most people usually have their front foot pointed toward the front of the board and the back foot straight across.  As you become a better rider you should point the back foot toward the back of the board  so you feet are ducked out.  This will allow you to ride in both directions forward and backward<aka fakey> with more control.   Here's another tip is when screwing the bindings to the board use locktite it will help keep the binding in place.  Hope this helped.
