Question
hi, i was wondering whats a good board to improve on. ive been boarding for two years now and im trying to decide between a burton feelgood or lip-stick i like doing all mountain freestyle and some park stuff, other board suggestions are cool to. i'm 5'6 and 125lbs so what would be a good size? thanks,

Answer
Yes- I think you are on the right track you said it yourself. A all mountain style board might be what you want. Usually length should be between your chin and nose. Consider the weight and flex of the board. It can be really difficult to know for sure until you go try certain boards and try other ones to have something to compare them too. There are some places that let you demo before you buy. Some boards are now geared up with alot pop sticks and designs that complement different things. All the descriptions are written up on the packages. Also consider if the board is made through sandwich or. Forgot the word for other style but the second is better than sandwich. Also consider construction and make of bottom and edges. The truth is my real strength is with teaching the boarding and there are so many good choices these days it makes it difficult for me to direct you. Go to several shopes and get a lot of ideas and see what you can try. Most all the boards are good choices except maybe the bottom line price point. Anyway I wish I could give you the real answers!!
Sincerely. Kurt Kalinna
