Diving club/coaches/classes near me

Hi, I have recently become interested in springboard and platform diving. I live in Jonesboro Arkansas. I have looked for clubs, coaches, or lessons near me, but I can't find anything in my area. I have never dived before so I'm looking for beginner lessons, can you help me?

The area you live in is not known for having diving programs most likely because there are no pools with deep enough water to have diving boards. Or if there are, the equipment is not of a quality that would attract a professional diving coach. Arkansas State University does not have a swim/dive program and colleges are usually a place that have club programs for the public where you can learn to dive. The only pool I know of in your state that has diving equipment is at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville which may be too far for you to go. Is high school diving an event with the swim teams in your state? If so then there may be coaches who can help you.

You can try going to www.swimmersguide.com and navigate your way to listings of pools in your city/county and call them to see if there are diving boards.
