Is it possible for me to start learning how to dive?

Hi Tom!
I'm currently 14 years old and is interested in learning how to dive. I am currently thinking about learning on how to dive off 1 and 3 meters springboards. My intention on learning how to dive is just for recreational purposes. I have no background in gymnastics and my body is not flexible. However, I can swim pretty well. Do you personally think that it is possible for me to start diving?

I do not see any reason for you not to try diving for fun. There have been many young people your age with your ability level who have pursued this sport on a recreational basis. I do not know where to tell you to find a lesson program as I am not familiar with diving in your country. Try going to www.fina.org and navigate your way around this website to find the national governing body for diving in Indonesia. I am sure that they can tell you where to find a diving program near you.
