beginning diving for kids

I have a 10 year old who loves diving for fun and I have been trying to find a program for him to practice and improve that doesn't involve joining an expensive club.  Do you have any suggestions?  We live in Seattle, WA.  Thanks.

The only place I know of that fits the description of what you are looking for is found at a pool in Seattle run by their Parks %26 Rec Dept. It is the Queen Anne Pool located atop the Queen Anne hill neighborhood. They have lessons for kids on weekday evenings. They also have a drop in program one day a week that you might want to try out first before starting lessons. I do not know who the instructor is. Just Google "Queen Anne Pool in Seattle" and their website will come up.
