Above Ground Pool Leveling: Ensuring Stability & Preventing Issues

It is generally recommended that the ground for an above-ground pool be level within 2 inches over a 10-foot span. For a 15-foot pool, the ground should be level within 1 inch over a 10-foot span.

Since your pool is almost 2 inches higher on one side, it may not be level enough and could cause problems with the pool's structure and stability. It is important to correct this issue before adding more water to the pool.

Here are some options to level your pool:

* Add fill dirt to the low side of the pool. This is a simple and relatively inexpensive option. Simply add enough fill dirt to raise the low side to the same level as the high side.

* Excavate the high side of the pool. This option is more difficult and time-consuming, but it may be necessary if there is too much fill dirt on the low side.

* Use a combination of fill dirt and excavation. This option may be the best solution if the pool is not too far out of level.

Once the pool is level, you can add more water and enjoy your pool.

It's important to use a level when setting up an above ground pool. If the pool is not level, it can cause the pool to collapse or leak.
