Locate a diving clinic

I live in Visalia, CA and am having a very difficult time locating somewhere to take my 7 year old to learn to dive. She is a gymnast and driving me crazy to have some diving lessons. I saw a previous posting by someone that had previously had some lessons in Fresno when her daughter was 8 & 9. That is only 40 min. from where I live. Can you help me please.

Here are some suggestions for you to find diving lessons:

Fresno State just recently re-instated it's womens diving team. Find out who the head coach is and inquire if they have a program for non students. Many colleges across the US have them.

Have you tried College of the Sequoias? I know that in the past they have had a diving program there.You might also try other junior colleges in the central valley.

Clovis west high school in Clovis has a big diving well that may have a program. Also contact the coach at Cal State Bakersfield, Larry Everingham. He may know of a program close by.

aaudiving.org - Click on Diving Sport Contacts and when the US map comes up, click on the district number closest to the central valley. A guy named Rich Foell will come up. Contact him about how to find coaches in your area.
