Surviving a 150-Foot Fall: Risks and Rare Survival Stories

The likelihood of surviving a fall from 150 feet is extremely low. The impact of hitting the ground at that speed would likely result in catastrophic injuries, including multiple fractures, organ damage, and brain injuries, which would most likely lead to death.

The highest survivable fall recorded was from Vesna Vulovic, a Serbian flight attendant who survived a fall of 33,330 feet (10,160 m) when the door of her plane blew open during flight in 1972. She was in a state of unconsciousness during the fall and sustained serious injuries but managed to survive.
