Wrestling advice

Question
Hello, I'm thinking of going wrestling training in USA and have been trying to do find the best place for me to do this once i leave the British Army in December. I have a few questions if you could help by answering them. 1. Is WWA4 still open and rated the best place to train? 2. Do i have to get separate insurance to cover medical? 3. I understand i can go over to the USA for 3 months at a time but am i allowed to work in the mean time? 4. Am i best going to the USA to train or is there somewhere in the UK that has a great reputation and has contacts with the bigger leagues? (wwe/tna). 5. Is there anything i can do in the meantime to improve my chances when i start training? i currently weigh 205 LBS and am 6 feet tall. If I'm honest its not all muscle either. Your help in this would be a massive help. Thanks, Keep up the good work.

Answer
Well first off let me say that thanks for joining the army and serving your country. Very admiral. Ok so to your questions.

WWA4 is a pretty good school still but I am not that aware of anyone recent they went to the WWE. I would still say that is your best bet since they must have connections somewhere

By separate insurance, I am not sure if yours right now covers medical transportation, visits to the hospital, prescriptions or anything like that. I would give your company a call and ask if they would cover it.

I am not sure if you can work. Most places ask for a green card or a visa so I imagine you could work but the problem is that no one really wants to hire someone for just 3 months. They usually hire people who can stay for a longer time.

I think you would be better in USA to train as everything is here. There are more connections probably here and much bigger leagues. WWE and TNA are great examples of why training in USA would be better.

Well you can train but what you do now. I am sure the British Army train your arms and legs and cardio which is basically what you need. I would also work on some neck exercise such as by bridging (wrestling term) and see if you can get some background experience in amateur wrestling. I would just continue to work out and try to get rid of that fat if you have any. Improve your strength and grip. I hope that helps.

Good luck
