How to perform good top, bottom, and neutral moves

Question
QUESTION: I've been wrestling for about 2 years now but i still cant get a good top or bottom move that i can master. I need to know for one how to do a sit out, switch, and a Peterson roll perfectly. Maybe im just mixing things up with the sit out, but what do you do when you quickly move to your butt with your hands tucked in from the bottom position? Whats the move called and what do you do? Also, on top, all i really do is chop the arm and pull up on the right ankle; i need a better move. Sorry to make this so long, but (also im right handed but i think my stance is opposite, my right leg is in front with left leg in back) how can you set up a double leg takedown while tying up, and without. Thanks

ANSWER: Well first off, I can't tell you how to do a sit out and switch move by just writing an email. That requires a coach and i recommend you talk to your coach for staying after practice for a little and asking how to do it slowly. Go through step by step. If you a big kid then it's going to be harder cause lighter kids move faster but once you know how to do it, it's not the best move to do because if you get caught up in sitting out and switching and you mess up, your opponent will have you flat on your back pretty quickly. Be careful

A better way to set up a double leg take down is to do head taps. Head tap him and then he'll try to head tap you and when he does, fling his arms up and take a deep shot. What you can also do is a shot at the whistle, most people won't expect it so that should give you an advantage. I hope that helps out. Sorry I can't answer the first question. Thats just something you need to ask your coach. Good luck.

QUESTION: thanks, but what about on top. all i really know on top is to arm chop and pick the ankle. what is a better move? btw im 130 lb

and also, if you have a link to a video to bottom moves it would be great...thanks

Answer
I'm sorry, i misunderstood your question and just looked at it again. Alright, for the top position you can do the arm chop again and use your knee to drive him forward which should put him on his stomach. That is the most basic and effective move but make sure to chop hard and give him a huge push with his knee. Another great move is a sideways spin. This is where you move to the side and block his inside knee and you knock his arm out from underneath him and you spin with it so he looses balance. Ask your coach to demonstrate.

If you got my previous email then i answered the bottom moves question. If not send me an email again.
