Pro Wrestling Manager/Valet Salary

Question
Hello,

These days there are very few managers/valets active (at least in WWE they seem to be almost extinct), but I was wondering how much does a manager/valet make in ROH or Indy-feds?

Answer
WWE is actually bringing the manager back, as of late they seem to really want it back in the company for multiple reasons. They mainly want them for those who cannot speak for themselves. Sort of like Great Khali and people such as him, who are great for the company but have no way of speaking English well.

Now, on the Indy scene, it really all depends on your level of experience as to what you make. A good manager may make a few hundred per show. Or if they are a spectacular manager, they may make around 1K. But, usually the best are used with one company and they find a way to use them on the staff, so they can make sure to pay them for multiple uses on a lower scale.

You won't make a lot, let's put it that way. The top managers of all time weren't highly paid in their time. Those like Jimmy Hart and Bobby Heenan were used a lot, but hardly paid what you'd think. When they became legends, people paid more just to get them to come in. That's when they made big money. When they were active, they probably made a mere few grand a month. But at that time, the economy wasn't like it was today, so, a few grand could be lived off of well.

Nowadays, in a business like WWE, a pure manager may make a few grand a week. Equaling maybe 3 to 5 thousand a month, while a wrestler would get paid around 10K. It really all depends on how over you are if you are going to make more money.

Sadly the Indy guys will not make near this
