Ok here i go.

Question
OK. I've been wrestling pro for a while, i need to know if my name is an OK name. Another thing i would like to now is a name for my finisher in the ring.

My wrestling name is "SoulTaker"
i need to now if I'll be OK with that name if not can you make a suggestion for a new one.

And my finisher goes like this.
-Throw opponent into corner
-Raise him up to highest point of corner
-Give high choke slam while staying on croner
-then jump off corner and land on him with strait legs
-stand up and give him elbow drop
i need a name for this. One that matches my persona of dark and sinister.

well that's it for now. thank you

Answer
How are you doing Jesse?

For a dark and sinister character, SoulTaker is ok, but it sounds close to Undertaker.  However, I will put it this way; my gimmick name in Texas was Mr. Mayhem.  It was a name of respect because of the person behind the character.  Any name can be good or bad based upon the person portraying the character.  So if you like SoulTaker and the crowd responds properly to your name and entrance music it's a good name.

From what you are telling me though, you don't seem to be happy with your name.  Without seeing you, your gear, or seeing you in the ring, it would be difficult for me to give you a name or a series of names at this time.  When it comes to choosing a name, there's more to it then just a name.  It has to match the gear you are wearing, it has to match your actions in the ring, and you have to like it.  Something dark and sinister, I would recommend going to http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/serial_killers/ and look through the names for some advise.  Everyone of the men and women on that list, if you mention their name to anybody old enough to read the news will get alittle chilled.

For your finisher, the first thing I will give you is a piece of advise since it sounds like a new finisher.  Finishers need to be simple, not complicated.  If you have used this finisher before, my hats off to the guy that is willing to take it.  However, the elbow is anti-climatic.  If you were one of the guys I was training or booking, I would have you lose the elbow and just use the chokeslam out of the corner.  Also for safety sake, I would also recommend you go to your knees with them when you chokeslam them.  Not only does it make the move look bigger, but is safer for everybody involved.

As far as naming this finisher, very few finishers are called, "The End" said in a sinister sounding voice.  Watch how Jake Roberts used to describe the DDT in the 80.  When asked what it meant, he simply said slowly and menacingly, "The End".  That is one name I would recommend.  Usually the greatest names come to you when you least expect it.  The trutv.com website would be a good source for this.  A lot of mass murders, serial killers, and sadists had names for things that also draw great emotion.  Helter Skelter would be one of those names that might also work.  They are names that describe you and your character.  You should find the one that reaches out and grabs you.

I hope this answer helps you and gives you the knowledge to help others.  Have a good day and good luck in your career.
