Skating the Palma Waterfront Trail

A collection of pictures taken by SkateLog editor Kathie Fry while she was skating the waterfront bicycle trail that runs along the coast and into the yacht harbor in the city of Palma on the island of Mallorca, Spain.
In April of 2001 I spent a night in the town of Palma de Mallorca on my way to the northeast corner of Mallorca Island for a week of skating and relaxing with 40 Swedes from Stockholm (that's a whole other story...).
While I was in Palma, I skated on the waterfront bike path that runs for 3 or 4 miles along the beach and into the Palma small boat harbor. With me in the photos below is trick and freestyle skater Fernando Brocal Valesquez. Fernando and I met while I was hanging out on my skates in the city of Palma and I came across him jumping over trash cans and doing other fantastic tricks. Naturally I HAD to introduce myself...
