Effective Porgie Fishing Techniques: Attract & Catch More Fish

1. Chumming: Chumming is a great way to attract porgies and get them feeding in an area. Throw berley or chopped-up pieces of fish scraps into the water and wait for them to start gathering. Once the porgies are in the area, set up your traps and start catching them.

2. Sabiki Rigs: Sabiki rigs are a great way to catch multiple fish at once. These rigs consist of a main line with several smaller hooks attached to it. Bait the hooks with small pieces of bait or bits of squid and drop the rig into the water. Wait for the porgies to bite and start catching them one after another.

3. Traps: Traps are a passive fishing method for catching porgies. Set the trap in the area where you have chummed or have a lot of porgies feeding. Bait the trap with pieces of bait or scraps of fish and wait for them to swim in and get trapped.

4. Nets: Nets are an effective way to catch porgies in mass. Throw the net over an area where you have chummed or have a lot of porgies feeding, allowing them to swim in and get caught. Be careful not to throw the net too forcefully as it can scare the fish away.

5. Cast Nets: Cast nets are a great way to catch porgies when they are in shallow water. Wait until you spot a group of porgies in shallow water and throw the cast net over them. Allow the net to sink and then quickly pull it up to catch the fish.
