The Canada Summer Camps For Children

The summer camp conducted in Canada every year resembles to those conducted in the US in many aspects. There are two types– residential and day camps and the kids can select either of the two types. They are conducted at about 800 different places in interior Canada. The first one was conducted in Ontario during 1890 – 1900 and as a result these are also known as the Ontario camps. Ontario still hosts the maximum number of them. The other seven Canadian provinces where they are conducted include British Columbia, Quebec and Alberta. Ontario, Alberta, Quebec and British Columbia have the maximum number. School going kids in the age group 5 – 16 are eligible to participate in them. They get the very exciting experience of travelling all the way to Canada, visit many places, get acquainted with a batch of international friends and a lot of fun, entertainment and enjoyment. The young girls and boys from many different countries of the world meet there, stay together, play together and work together.

The children who participate in this summer camp get a rare opportunity for personality development by way of taking part in various activities, assignments and tasks. They can utilize this great opportunity to develop their various personal skills, improve their awareness and develop their character by performing as a responsible member of a group. In addition to the travel, friendship, entertainment and personality development, the kids get real working experience also during their stay in the beautiful and lovely country sides of Canada. In the camp, they are encouraged to work hard and assume new responsibilities. Those who are willing can continue in the jobs even after completion of the camp activities.
