K2. The second highest of difficult mountain on our planet is the K2. With a peak elevation of about 8,591 meters, it is dwarfed only Mount Everest. This difficult mountain is located in the Karakoram range, which stretches across the borders of Pakistan, India and China.

Matterhorn. The Matterhorn is part of the Pennine Alps, a mountain range between Switzerland and Italy. This difficult mountain is famous for its odd shape. The Matterhorn has two summits; the Swiss peak is 4,477 meters, while the Italian peak is slightly shorter.
