Largemouth bass typically range in size from about 1 to 5 pounds (0.45 to 2.27 kilograms), with an average size of around 2 pounds (0.91 kilograms). However, they can grow much larger, and there have been reports of largemouth bass weighing over 13 pounds (5.9 kilograms). The largest largemouth bass ever caught on record was caught in 1932 in Montgomery Lake, Georgia, and weighed 22 pounds, 4 ounces (10.12 kilograms).
