2. Keep your head steady. Your head should be stable during your swing. Don't close your eyes when you hit the golf ball. You should keep your eyes on the target.

Keep your footing up to par. You want to use proper footing at the beginning of your swing until after the swing has gone through. Keep your knees bended properly for a successful swing. Don't lock your legs. Your swing will be stiff and won't flow well.

Keep your focus where you need it to be. Focus on the game and the here and now. Don't dwell on your last mistake or how well the other players are doing. Focus on your next shot and your next shot only.

Practice makes perfect. One key item of golf is practice. Practice various golf swings to find the perfect golf swing follow through. Beginners need a lot of practice, especially in the beginning, if they want to see good results while they are out there on the golf course.

6. Don't swing too fast. Keep a steady pace with your golf swing until the last moment. This allows a perfect golf swing follow through because of the good pace that you kept through out the entire swing.
