Tiger Woods Public Apology: Is It Really Covering The Truth?

2016/7/19 16:28:00

This Friday Woods admitted he had disappointed his family, friends and fans according to the news sources

A pornstar who he had allegedly an affair with , real name Veronica Siwik-Daniels, claims she was twice made pregnant by Woods, had a nervous breakdown after the speech.

He didn't mention Miss James with whom he is alleged to have had an affair with, he only talked about his shame at his actions.

"Veronica has made tremendous sacrifices for him," said her lawyer. "She gave up the porn business at his request and went into hiding when the scandal broke in order to protect him, but to date he has not contacted her to apologise."

Miss James's lawyer Gloria Allred said her 32-year-old client, who had cut her hair short and dyed it red, suffered "anguish and distress" following her three year affair with Woods. She said James believed their relationship "would last a lifetime" and went into hiding to avoid being quizzed about their affair.

Woods allegedly sent Miss James loads of text messages and saw her several times a month almost every month during their relationship.

According to yahoo news Woods alternately looked into the camera and at the 40 people in the room, raising his voice only to deny that his wife ever hit him and to demand that the paparazzi leave his family alone. Beyond that, there were stretches when Woods - with his formidable business empire - could have been reading from a tough corporate report

But Woods has always been special on the course and in popular culture. Television ratings double when he is in contention, which has happened a lot on his way to winning 71 times on the PGA Tour and 14 majors, four short of the record held by Jack Nicklaus.

As appeared on the Press Association's website some sponsors have already dropped or distanced themselves from Woods, but club and clothing manufacturer Nike said in a statement: "Tiger has apologised and made his position clear. Nike fully supports him and his family. We look forward to him returning to golf."After initial critical comments from players, most notably Ernie Els, about the timing of the statement in the middle of a big event in Arizona, there was a more supportive reaction there on Friday.
