Operating a Gasoline Golf Buggy for the First Time

Today, golf is no longer a sport of royal people but a hobby of several common people who look upon it as a strategic sport. Most of them play to experience the game from different angles. If you are also thinking to be like one of them, you will be certainly keen to play this game. Here, you have two options: Carry all your equipment on your own by walking on the course or hire a golf buggy. Because golf buggies are designed to carry you and your equipment on wheels, most golfers prefer renting one instead of walking around with a heavy bag. In case you choose to hire a golf buggy, you will need to learn to operate it. This means you need to know about the instructions for operating a buggy.

You start by asking for a buggy from a clubhouse or shop along with its key. You will need to look for your golf buggy by watching the number on each cart to match with the one on your key. Once you get your cart, you need to strap your clubs and other equipment at the buggy's rear securely. Ensure that the brake is locked prior to placing the key at its right location. Now, place the key in the ignition area that is at the right of the steering wheel and move it to the right unless it comes at the on position. While doing so, you may not hear the engine noise because most the modern carts are quiet.

Next, place the buggy in the forward position, as going backwards can make a loud noise. In a few buggies, the F or forward button is found beneath the seat or on dash. Now, push on the gas gradually without slamming because the vehicle starts at its full acceleration that can cause a jerk. Once you push, a break release sound will trigger after which you can increase the gas slowly. You can now start driving with care but be vigilant for turns, as it is easy to lose control or flip with such a vehicle. If you wish to take the vehicle in reverse, switch to R position and press on the gas slowly. For halting the cart, press on the brake gradually unless it is secured in place. Finally, remove the key.

Well, it is quite easy to operate a gasoline golf buggy. In case of an electric golf buggy, all you have to do is use the key, as there is no gas need for the operation.
